Companions of The Quaich
Tour of France and Scotland
June 2 - 16, 2017

Featuring Cognac, Champagne, Fine Wine and Single Malt Scotch

First, the French connection takes us to Paris, The City of Lights, the Palace of Versailles, Bordeaux, the Loire Valley, and on to the City of Reims, with visits to the famous Houses of Hennessy and Remy Martin, Moet et Chandon in the Champagne region and Launois vineyards.

Then the Scottish sunshine sojourn takes us to Glasgow and Edinburgh and the lovely Isle of Arran and points betwixt, with proposed visits to Auchentoshan, the new Glasgow Distillery on the River Clyde, Glengoyne or Tullibardine Distillery, the Scotch Malt Whisky Society Vaults, plus two special private Companions tastings and an optional visit to Glenkinchie.

Included are all tastings, all breakfasts, 4 lunches and 10 dinners.

Todayís price: $4,999 plus airport taxes/fuel and gratuities. Any major fluctuation in currency rates against the Euro or Pound Sterling may result in an increase or decrease in your pocket money (Fingers crossed!).

Jim McEwan to join Companions
2017 tour group for special tasting!

Legendary Master Distiller Jim McEwan and his wife, Barbara, will join the Companions of The Quaich tour group for dinner and a very special malt tasting at The Parliament House Hotel in Edinburgh on June 15, 2017. This exclusive special occasion will mark the group's Farewell Dinner following our Cognac, Wine & Whisky Tour of France and Scotland. This will be a truly wonderful way to end our memorable journey. An Honorary Life Member of the Companions, Jim has hosted extra-special tastings for our society members on Islay as well as in Toronto and other locations in Ontario for more than 20 years. He retired in 2015 after spending 52 years in the whisky business.
